Kathy Kennebrook’s Quick Meals So You Can Do More Deals – Part 2

I wanted to share just a couple more really simple meals which have four ingredients or less. Even the kids can prepare these. Here is one called:

Pork Chops in Mushroom Sauce.

8 pork chops
2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
Pepper
One cup milk

In a casserole dish arrange pork chops so they don’t overlap. In a separate bowl combing soup and milk until mixed well. Pour over pork chops. Dust with pepper. Cover. Bake at 350 for one hour. Serve with white or yellow rice.

Beef Casserole

1 LB ground beef lean
1 10 oz package of noodles
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 can mixed vegetables
½ cup milk

Brown beef, pour off grease. Cook noodles 15 minutes. Add beef, drained noodles, soup, vegetables and milk in a casserole dish and bake uncovered at 350 for one hour.

Oven Fried Chicken

¾ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup parmesan cheese
4 boneless skinless chicken breast
Bread crumbs

Mix together mayonnaise and parmesan cheese. Brush mixture on to each chicken breast, roll in bread crumbs and place in casserole dish. Do not overlap chicken pieces. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 uncovered.

Here are a couple more of my favorite quick dishes.

Tuna Casserole

1 6 ½ ox can of tuna drained
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
¾ cup Milk
Cup of crushed potato chips

Combine tuna, soup and milk. Add ¾ cup of potato chips and mix well. Pour into greased 8 in x 8 in casserole dish. Sprinkle the rest of the potato chips on top and bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Serves 4.

Bacon Roll Ups

8 oz. Bacon cooked and crumbled (You can buy already crumbled bacon)
1 8 oz package Crescent rolls
½ cup Sour Cream
½ teas Onion powder

Combine the sour cream, bacon and onion powder. Mix Well. Spread on rolls and roll up. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes.

These are a great appetizer or make a good meal with eggs.
