Four homebuilding companies — Ryland Homes, D.R. Horton, Beazer Homes and Trophy Homes — have each signed two-year agreements with Direct Energy for their homes in Houston, marking the first time that any of these builders have opted to work with a competitive retail energy provider rather than incumbent provider Reliant Energy Inc.
