GreenHome concept introduced at green building conference

Cherokee Investment Partners of Raleigh, N.C., is creating what it qualifies as the first mainstream "GreenHome" to be built in a traditional housing subdivision. Cherokee's design and construction makes the home the first in the nation to be built in a "typical subdivision under [the new] National Association of Home Builders' Green Home Building Guidelines," according to a news release.
