Home sales drop as median prices rise

The median price for single-family homes in Hawaii increased 26.5 percent during the last quarter of 2005 to $620,000, up from $490,000 in the fourth quarter of 2004, according to the Honolulu Board of Realtors.

Home resales down 30 percent in first two months
