If you live in metropolitan Columbus, it's sometimes hard to remember 59 of Ohio's 88 counties are rural and, of the remaining 29 counties, 21 contain large rural areas. While a short supply of affordable housing is a concern in Ohio's core cities, affordable rental and senior housing options may not exist at all in rural areas.
