So I forgot to tell you about my latest tenant experience, especially when you qualify your tenants correctly when you put them in one of your rentals in the first place! Ron has been with us for five years and closed on the purchase of his first home in December….yay Ron! He sent a 60 day notice as required by his lease. Only problem was his lease isn’t up until the end of February. So December 28th I get a check from Ron for the full amount of rent through the end of his lease with a letter saying that he wanted to hold on to the keys for a bit longer so he can give the house a good deep cleaning. This man has paid his rent a few days early the entire five years he was with us, we will miss him, but what a wonderful step forward for him.
