So I am ranting again….I hate air bnbs. Many of you know this about me already. I think they should be abolished since it’s a commercial enterprise in a residential area. There are 9 air bnbs on the street I live on and we have one on each side of us. All of this has occurred within the last two years. We are talking about really high dollar houses.
Two weeks ago when fortunately we were out of town, there was huge party at the one that usually doesn’t give us trouble. The owner actually contacted me to find out what was going on. I guess other neighbors called the cops. I sent her photos off of our cameras. Then this week they had a group in the house with constant noise, fireworks, screaming in the pool at all hours and generally a nuisance. Plus hubby had surgery last week and we really didn’t need the hassle so I contacted the owner. She got on it immediately, however her people were banging on our door this morning. I used the intercom I did not answer the door.
The other problem with all this is that there are constant strangers in the neighborhood. The airbnb on the other side of us is a constant headache. So new people come in tomorrow for the holiday weekend and out on Tuesday in the headache house. How much you want to bet there is going to be a huge party?? This is typically their MO. Cops were there twice on Memorial Day Weekend. The owner of that one uses a property management company who couldn’t care less who is in the house.
I have the cops on speed dial. We are not tolerating it. Rant Over!
